Important U.S. City Demographics (Latest Available: 2017)

Select the state/s and (if applicable) one or more cities to see actual data (top chart) and percentile rank (bottom chart) for the nine variables shown below. Note that only five will be displayed, but you can (for example) click a column header to sort in ascending or descending order and see the highest or lowest of all selected cities on that variable. The variables are:

Population; Income; Home Value; Percent Renters; Rent Levels; Percent Couples with Kids; Percent Age 59 and Above; Percent Bachelor's Degree and Above; and Percent Only English Speaking.

The bottom chart's percent ranks - relative to all U.S. cities - are: 1 = lowest 20 percent; second lowest 20 percent; 3= middle 20 percent; 4 = next to highest 20 percent; and 5 = highest 20 percent.
Use the State and City drop-downs and select one to five cities. Tap outside of the list to hide it. Hold your device horizontally to see all columns, if needed. Click column header to sort data up or down. The absence of a city means that we were not able to find usable data. Contact us to develop - at a modest cost - custom variables or percentile ranks against a specific state.
